INDIGENOUS SERVICES

Black Fly is proud to support Indigenous and Metis communities in conducting customized environmental studies focused on traditional plants. We work intimately with the community, facilitating the communication of traditional land-use values by respectfully braiding Indigenous and Western science.

We develop and deliver customized environmental monitoring programs in the community. Designed to build capacity in the use of environmental monitoring tools and techniques, these programs provide inclusive and hands-on training to support communities in conducting self-sustaining environmental monitoring.

Our team of professionals are experts in regulatory processes as they relate to project development and the environment. We have a deep respect for the space traditional knowledge requires in the planning and development of projects on traditional lands.
